A Dream to suit your needs and a Dream for Me

Today, minimum wage rules a lot of people's lives and is the majority of time the only source of income for a lot of families. So how can an individual achieve the American fantasy; 2 children, a big two story property, and a couple of cars? It is far from a simple point to achieve, however the thing people ignore is the fact it is always possible to attain. The American fantasy is not gone and can be achieved by anyone and is several for each person.

People are responsible for their own destiny so every one of the speculations in Karen Olsson's article about Wal-Mart dealing with its personnel unfairly must not be causing the controversies it is. No one can be swimming in money with two children while operating at Wal-Mart. Life ideas like these will be why many people don't obtain the American dream. It was that individual's choice to not pursue an extra education to set themselves up for a higher paying out job. Many people are the lucky ones who can get a job and work all their way up in a prestigious company in the lowest situation, but in that situation it's mostly who you already know. There are some people who are successful devoid of college however, not many powerful people functioning at Wal-Mart for minimum wage trying to feed multiple kids. So , Olsson's article about Wal-Mart and staff fighting intended for unions is definitely not supporting anything because if that individual wanted to provide for their kids they can have obtained the proper job.

Another facet of the American dream is physical appearance. The aspects of one's body cannot be chosen by an individual (well genuinely with modern-day plastic surgery anything is possible) but the shape of ones body can be. Fast food runs the food industry and is a major contributor to unhealthy weight in America today. But , it is not a necessity for individuals to eat, and it is often chosen because of its low...
